Marissa Pascarella, LMHC-D

I have lived in upstate New York for my entire life. I am a graduate of the University at Albany, SUNY holding a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology and a minor in Education. My therapeutic style is open, warm, and empathetic. I strive to create a space that facilitates growth and healing, while meeting the client wherever they may be in their life trajectory. I primarily utilize cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal modalities. I lead treatment with a person-focused lens as I believe approaches to treatment are specific to each client’s needs. I have a strong passion for educating and mentoring others. I am committed to expanding my knowledge as a therapist in effort to enhance my client’s experience. My hope for treatment is that my client feels like a collaborator in their journey of advancing their wellbeing. I specialize in working with individuals who have endured traumatic experiences. I provide individual psychotherapy to clients aged 12-65. I also have experience working with other client populations including couples, families, and groups.
